Core courses

The core courses are designed and taught in a manner to give students a basic foundation of understanding, interpreting and problem solving skills for public health issues.
All core courses are mandatory for students enrolled to the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. The ‘Human Health and Disease ‘course is compulsory only for students from a non-medical and dental background.

At the end of the first semester, students have to select three courses with in an area of concentration. The areas of concentration have been formulated so as to incorporate most in-demand public health areas of expertise.
For a particular concentration/track course to be offered, a minimum enrollment of 5 students is required.
